Kristie studied Exercise Science
and Physiology and received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bloomsburg
University . She has been a personal trainer since 1996 and
continues working one on one with exercise enthusiasts. Kristie
is currently working as a consultant for personal trainers at the same
time continuing to keep up with her own continuing education courses.
Kristie 's past experience is working with the athletic
population for sport specific strength, post rehabilitation clients for performance
enhancement and exercise enthusiastic for a combination of traditional and functional
strength. However, the past five years of Kristie 's personal training
business has begun to reshape itself. She has learned to take more
of a holistic approach to exercising and rejuvenating the body. She believes
deeply in treating the body with respect. She designs integrated exercise
programs for her clients implementing moderate stretching, strength and core
training with a focus on improving the body's ability to balance and stabilize
itself. Learning to listen to what the body needs and wants is an art that Kristie
tries to facilitate with her clientele.
Kristie also received her Masters of Science Degree
in Education from Wagner College which has created many new opportunities. During
the past five years, Kristie has been working as a consultant utilizing her managing
and writing skills for personal training companies in New York City . Currently
she is completing a 12 hour Personal Trainer's Training Manual for Complete Body
Development .
