Roman Malkov, M.D., graduated from Moscow Medical University in 1989 as a gastroenterologist. For several years, he served as the Attending Physician at the Central Hospital in Moscow and as a Nutritional Consultant for the Russian National Athletic Team. In 1997 he passed the U.S. Medical License examination. He is a world recognized leader in sports nutrition and nutrigenetics. He is a founder and the President of Nutrigen, Inc. Dr. Malkov is the author of the Carbohydrate Cycling Diet book, which was published in 2003. His new book, The Carb Cycling Diet, is going to be released in February 2006.
