Sharon Jackson is an alumnus of The High School of Performing Arts where
she studied Dance. She continued her dance training at Hofstra University
and in addition earned a B.S. in Physical Education. Sharon also has a background
in competitive athletics. In 1995, she won first place in the N.P.C ‘(Natural
Physique Committee) light weight division of womens' body building and in
1996, won a bronze medal in the mixed pairs division of the Reebok Regional
Aerobics competition.
Sharon has worked in corporate wellness for companies such as, Frontline
Fitness and Plus one as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor.
In 1997 she started her own business, “Whole Being Health,” and catering
for private clients. Sharon teaches Hatha Yoga, Pilates and resistance training
to client in addition to leading seminars on stress management. Her hobbies
include freelance writing, cooking and of course working out.
