YOGA:

Yoga, a form of mind-body exercise, was first developed more than 5,000 years ago in India.  The traditional goal of yoga is unity with the Absolute (Brahman) and unity with oneself (Atman).  However, one need not achieve such spiritual goals to reap some of yoga’s physical and psychological benefits.  Yoga can increase muscle tone and improve your posture, while at the same time reducing stress.  There are four paths in yoga, covering such bases as knowledge and wisdom, devotion, action; and self-control.  Some widely practiced types of yoga include hatha yoga, which focuses on breathing and posture, and ashtanga yoga, a more strenuous workout.  Complete Body® Development can incorporate yoga into your customized workout routine.



STRETCHING:

A Complete Body® workout isn’t over until you’ve had the chance to stretch. After your workout is done, our trainers will help you stretch all your important muscles. Stretching relaxes the mind and body, taking away soreness and tension as well as reducing the risk of injury
